About the Role
As an Adult ADHD Assessor & Reviewer (Prescribing Route) you will:
Conduct structured ADHD diagnostic assessments (history, impairment, co-morbidity, risk).
Deliver compassionate feedback conversations with patients and families.
Initiate, titrate and review ADHD medication within local formulary and national guidance.
Arrange and interpret baselines and physical health monitoring.
Complete safe shared-care handovers to GPs once stable.
Produce same-day high-quality letters using standardised templates.
Present complex cases at weekly MDT and contribute to audit, improvement and clinical learning.
Provide informal coaching, case discussion and professional support to peers.

Essential criteria
- Qualifications and registration (one of):
- NMC-registered Nurse with V300 Independent Prescriber annotation and adult ADHD experience
- GPhC-registered Clinical Pharmacist with Independent Prescriber annotation and adult ADHD experience
- GMC-registered GP with adult ADHD experience
- Mental Health Nurse (V300 IP), Clinical Pharmacist IP, or equivalent
- UKAAN-trained (both elements and certificate)
- Strong communicator, organised, and committed to equity and inclusion
- Working knowledge of NICE ADHD guidance, local formulary, risk and safeguarding
- Strong written communication and clinic time management.
