Bid Manager Security Services Sector Hybrid Working: 1 Day per Week in Central London Head Office | 4 Days Remote Salary: Up to £60,000 Excellent Benefits Package About the Company Our client is a leading security services provider delivering innovative and customer-focused solutions across corporate security, manned guarding, mobile services, risk management, technology, and integrated security solutions throughout the UK. As part of their continued growth strategy, they are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Bid Manager to join their commercial team and play a key role in securing major new business opportunities. The Opportunity- Bid Manager This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Bid Manager to take ownership of the end-to-end bid process, leading high-quality submissions that support the company's ambitious growth plans. Working closely with senior stakeholders across Operations, Sales, Finance, HR, Compliance, and Marketing, you will coordinate compelling tender responses that clearly demonstrate value, service excellence, and competitive advantage. This role offers a genuine opportunity to influence business growth while enjoying the flexibility of a hybrid working model and the support of a collaborative leadership team. Key Responsibilities- Bid Manager Lead and manage the complete bid lifecycle from qualification through to submission and presentation. Coordinate responses to PQQs, SQs, ITTs, RFIs, and tender opportunities. Develop compelling, customer-focused bid content tailored to client requirements. Collaborate with operational and subject matter experts to gather technical information and evidence. Manage bid timelines, ensuring all submissions are completed accurately and on schedule. Review tender documentation and identify key win themes, risks, and opportunities. Maintain and develop the bid library, case studies, and supporting content. Support client presentations, bid interviews, and clarification responses. Analyse bid outcomes and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Monitor tender portals and identify suitable opportunities for qualification. About You We are seeking a commercially minded bid professional who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. You will have: Proven experience as a Bid Manager, Senior Bid Writer, or Bid Lead. Experience producing successful bids within the security, facilities management, outsourcing, or service-led sectors. Exceptional written communication and editing skills. Strong project management and organisational abilities. Experience managing multiple bids simultaneously. Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills. High attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality submissions. Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and PowerPoint. What's on Offer? What you will do
