Join us at the Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust and play a pivotal role in an exciting NHS England-funded innovation project. Working alongside clinicians, researchers and digital teams, you will use advanced analytics, machine learning and patient-reported outcome data (PROMs) to help transform Rheumatology services across Bath, Swindon and Wiltshire.

Essential criteria
- Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Experience applying statistical analysis and/or machine learning techniques to real-world datasets.
- Experience working with large, complex datasets and producing analytical outputs to support decision-making.
- Experience of working with NHS data and a sound understanding of information governance, data protection and cyber security requirements.
- Experience presenting analytical findings and recommendations to a variety of audiences, including senior stakeholders.
- Experience leading or contributing significantly to data science or analytics projects.
- Proficiency in one or more analytical programming languages, such as Python, R or SPSS.
- Ability to manage, cleanse, manipulate and interpret complex datasets.
- Knowledge of machine learning and data science frameworks.
- Proficiency in SQL and an understanding of relational databases.
- Ability to design, undertake and interpret advanced analytical work.
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience producing reports, dashboards, visualisations and presentations to support decision-making.

- Experience of developing dashboards or deploying analytical models into operational use.
- Experience of Power BI or similar visualisation tools.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary clinical teams.
