An opportunity has arisen for a HR Advisor to join one of our busy HR Business Partner team within the Manchester and Trafford Local Care Organisation & University Dental Hospital of Manchester Clinical Group.
You will work alongside the HR Business Partners and the wider HR team in the provision of a high quality strategic and operational people management support service to ensure best practice people management.
The role will provide an excellent opportunity to develop and expand your skills and experience as an HR professional in a multi disciplinary team of HR and OD professionals.
The post holder must be willing and able to travel to different sites.
Main duties of the job
To support the HR Business Partners and wider team in the delivery of a high quality, professional, proactive and efficient workforce service within Manchester and Trafford Local Care Organisation and University Dental Hospital of Manchester, through consistent application of the Trust's policies and procedures, employment legislation and flexible approaches to employment appropriate to the needs of the department and organisation.
To support the HR Business Partners in the delivery of an effective employee relations service, policy implementation and governance function for Manchester and Trafford Local Care Organisation and the Dental Hospital of Manchester HR team.
To contribute to the development and implementation of processes and procedures which ensure theconsistent application of the Trust's policies and procedures.
To support the HR Business Partner in ensuring the comprehensive management of employment relations matters, for both medical and non-medical staff providing a professional service that meets all legislative and policy requirements.
To support the delivery of the overall Workforce Strategy through corporate project work as requested.
To liaise with other workforce colleagues to maintain effective communication links, ensuring that best practice is shared and developed and to facilitate cross-cover of HR services.
To work in a manner consistent with the NHS Management Code of Conduct and the CIPD Code of Professional Conduct.

Essential criteria
- Completed first year of CIPD qualification
- Student membership of CIPD
- HR Admin / operational experience working in the UK
- Evidence of CPD
- An understanding of the national NHS agenda and the Human Resource contribution.
- A knowledge and understanding of employment legislation and employment issues.
- An understanding of the principles of change management and contribution of the HR function to transformational change
- Demonstrate through CPD, employment law updates and various other training courses and up to date knowledge of HR/Personnel practices
