Job Description

Job summary 2 WTE - 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract/Secondment Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group (LCHG) is embarking on one of the most significant organisational transformation journeys in its history, bringing together organisations, cultures and ways of working to create a single, high-performing NHS organisation. As a result, we are seeking experienced and credible Organisational Development Transformation Programmes Managers to lead the people and culture aspects of complex organisation-wide transformation programmes. This is a unique opportunity for a senior OD and transformation professional who has substantial experience of supporting large-scale transformational change, organisational integration, service redesign or merger programmes within complex environments. Working independently as the dedicated OD leads across major transformation initiatives, you will provide expert OD consultancy, challenge and support to senior leaders, helping them navigate cultural, behavioural and organisational change. At the same time, you will work in close partnership with the central Organisational Development Team, ensuring programme-specific interventions align with and complement the Group's wider culture, leadership and organisational effectiveness agenda. Main duties of the job We are looking for individuals who combine strategic thinking with delivery focus, can influence at the most senior levels, and have a proven track record of translating organisational development expertise into practical interventions that deliver sustainable change, improve staff experience and support organisational performance. We are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate: Significant experience leading organisational development and culture change within large, complex organisations. A proven track record of embedding OD methodologies within major transformation, integration, restructuring or service redesign programmes at organisational level. Experience operating autonomously and providing specialist OD leadership across multiple workstreams and stakeholders. Strong experience of diagnosing organisational and cultural challenges and translating insight into practical, measurable interventions. The ability to influence and engage executive leaders, senior clinical leaders and large stakeholder groups through periods of ambiguity and change. Experience of developing and implementing organisational culture transformation, leadership development and organisational effectiveness initiatives at an organisational level. A collaborative approach, with experience of working within matrix environments where responsibility for OD and transformation is shared across teams. Exceptional facilitation, consultancy and relationship-building skills. About us Lincoln Hospital is a thriving university city and with the opening of the medical school, it provides all major specialties and a 24-hour major accident and emergency service. United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust has been granted teaching hospital status, after demonstrating evidence to significant teaching commitment. From now on it will be known as United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. Pilgrim Hospital is situated in beautiful countryside and serves the communities in the South Lincolnshire area. It provides all major specialties and a 24-hour major accident and emergency service. Grantham and District Hospital serves the communities of Grantham and the local area. It provides ambulatory paediatric and accident and emergency services. Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) and United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) have come together in a Group arrangement, with the goal of improving the care provided to patients across the county. This will not constitute a formal merger of the two organisations, but will bring the Trusts together under a single Board and Executive Leadership Team, with the goal of improving the care that is provided to patients both in the community and in hospitals across Lincolnshire.
