Job summary
The Pacing service at NNUH is the busiest brady implanting centre in the UK. We follow up all devices from ICDs / CRTs / PPMs and ILRs. The team is small consisting of 10 x Band 7 physiologists and 2 x Band 8a leads. We have 2 x secretaries who are involved with typing letters, meeting minutes, new referrals and follow up.
Remote monitoring is now the Gold Standard of patient care as outlined by the BHRS / EHRA and HRS. The department is looking to move forward in improving remote follow up and care and this role is integral in allowing that to happen.

You will be responsible for alerting patients that their monitor is disconnected or they have failed to attend a remote appointment, alerting the physiology team to downloads that need urgent attention, assisting in organizing the correct monitor for appropriate patients and directing any troubleshooting issues to the appropriate helplines.
