We are looking for 2 HR Assistants (1 x permanent and 1 x fixed term contract up to 31.5.2027) to provide effective and efficient administrative HR support to the HR Team and key operational stakeholders..
This is an exciting, challenging but most of all hugely rewarding role. Reporting to the HR Coordinator you will have opportunity to work across employee relations cases, respond to first line enquiries, design and produce reports, administer family leave applications and more.
You will have the ability to manage competing priorities, strong interpersonal skills and clear communication.

Main duties of the job
To provide professional, consistent and timely HR support and advice to all staff as well as providing a streamlined and high quality HR administrative support service.
To undertake the accurate entry of key information into HR systems, and support the full HR function to ensure that the organisation maintains high level HR services to meet the ongoing needs of the Group.
To be responsible for ensuring information, documents and correspondence issued are accurate and produced in a timely fashion. Also required to assist in minute taking of meetings and hearings and administrating job evaluation panels.

Pilgrim Hospital is situated in beautiful countryside and serves the communities in the South Lincolnshire area. It provides all major specialties and a 24-hour major accident and emergency service.
Grantham and District Hospital serves the communities of Grantham and the local area. It provides ambulatory paediatric and accident and emergency services.
Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) and United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) have come together in a Group arrangement, with the goal of improving the care provided to patients across the county.
This will not constitute a formal merger of the two organisations, but will bring the Trusts together under a single Board and Executive Leadership Team, with the goal of improving the care that is provided to patients both in the community and in hospitals across Lincolnshire. Both Trusts will retain their separate statutory names and legal obligations.
The Group will be known as Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group (LCHG).

Essential criteria
- NVQ level 3 in business administration or equivalent level of experience demonstrating numeracy and literacy.
- Level 2 Certified English and Maths (GCSE/Functional Skills)
- Proven administrative skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively and professionally
- Attention to detail and ability to respond to changes to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of NHS Terms and Conditions
- Knowledge of standard administrative processes
- Demonstrable experience in a busy office environment.
- Experience of taking and producing formal minutes of meetings and notes at formal hearings.
- Experience of using initiative to handle a wide range of queries from senior managers, line managers and colleagues, providing information on issues such as terms and conditions, annual leave etc.
- Experience of working independently and as part of a team
- Ability to travel independently throughout the Group to attend meetings and hearings
- Role model for Group values and behaviours.
Desirable criteria
- CIPD Level 3 (Foundation Certificate) or equivalent qualification.
- Enhanced database skills
- Administrative HR experience gained in healthcare and/or unionised environment.
- Experience of using electronic staff record systems.
