Job Description

Job summary We are looking to recruit a Learning Technologies Lead to support the continued use and further development of our Virtual Learning Environment and Learning Technology resources to ensure that the Trust and its' partners have appropriate learning resources in order to effectively support learner needs both now and in the future. The role will ensure that the Trust and its' partners have appropriate learning resources in order to effectively support learner needs both now and in the future. The role of the Learning Technologies Lead will be to build, maintain and develop the Trusts online training capability and its associated virtual learning environment (VLE). This will include; the production of course materials and content, planning for and coordination of eLearning activities and resources, establishing forums for interactive discussions and peer-to-peer supported coursework areas, accreditation of courseware, maximizing course completion rates, maintaining learner records and design and implementation of on-line monitoring and evaluation systems. What success looks like
Essential criteria - Degree in a relevant subject or equivalent experience - Knowledge of working with OLM eLearning or a learning management system - Working via SMEs to conduct training needs analysis and design content of eLearning - Experience developing eLearning using an authoring tool such as Lectora - Knowledge of IT related confidentiality and security Desirable criteria - Chartered CIPD - Qualification in training or teaching - Knowledge of ESR BI reporting - Experience of developing eLearning packages using Lectora/Storyline authoring tools - Working knowledge and understanding of ESR, OLM and OLM eLearning - Management of eLearning helpdesk and handling of eLearning user queries
