As healthcare in Sheffield continues to evolve, increasing collaboration across organisations is creating exciting opportunities to work at scale, improve patient pathways, reduce duplication and deliver greater value for patients and the wider health and care system.
To match this ambition with our ability to deliver services effectively, efficiently and safely, we are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join Primary Care Sheffield (PCS).
You will be someone who can see the bigger picture while maintaining a strong focus on the detail that makes services work effectively day to day. Overall, this is a responsible, varied and challenging opportunity for an experienced operational leader who is self-motivated, organised and resilient, with a genuine commitment to delivering high-quality services and making a positive difference to patients, staff and the wider healthcare system.
Main duties of the job

You will play an important role in driving continuous improvement, developing high-performing teams and ensuring that operational delivery remains focused on quality, safety and patient experience.
A significant part of this role will be your ability to influence, engage and bring people together. Not everyone you work with will report directly to you, so you will need the confidence and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships, gain commitment and encourage colleagues and partners to work collectively towards shared goals.
