Job Description

Indirect Procurement Business Partner

Salary: upto 65k + benefits

Location: Oxford - 3 days per week in office

Type: Permanent|Fulltime

We're looking for a professional with indirect Procurement experience for a Indirect Procurement Business Partner(Corporate/Professional services category) role to play a key role in delivering commercial excellence across a world-class engineering organisation.

You'll partner with stakeholders across corporate category and other business functions, developing sourcing strategies, negotiating high-value contracts, and building strong supplier relationships that deliver measurable value.

This is an opportunity to step into a visible, business-facing role where your commercial expertise, negotiation skills and ability to influence will directly shape business performance.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading indirect procurement activity across multiple spend categories within the indirect space (Corporate/Professional services category).
  • Developing sourcing strategies that reduce cost, improve supplier performance and manage risk.
  • Negotiating and managing supplier contracts to maximise value.
  • Partnering with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver commercially effective solutions.
  • Driving continuous improvement across procurement processes and supplier performance.
  • Using data and insights to identify opportunities, measure savings and support informed decision-making.

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience in indirect procurement or indirect buying.
  • Strong stakeholder management, negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Experience managing suppliers and commercial contracts.
  • A proactive, commercially minded approach with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience within engineering, manufacturing, facilities or R&D environments not essential, but desirable.
