Job Description

Senior Software Developer - .NET (Fully Remote) Location: Fully Remote Salary: £50,000 to £60,000 plus strong wider benefits package About the role Our client, a digital consultancy delivering complex technology programmes across the public sector, are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join multidisciplinary delivery teams working on critical digital services. You will design, build and improve secure, reliable software used within large scale public service environments, collaborating with stakeholders and delivery teams throughout the software lifecycle. This is a hands-on, software engineering role using .NET, cloud technologies and agile delivery practices in a fast-moving, stakeholder-heavy environment. NOTE: Eligible candidates must have an active Security Clearance or be eligible for a Security Clearance Key responsibilities Design, build and improve digital services across a range of delivery programmes Deliver software engineering solutions using .NET and associated technologies Work across multiple project environments with differing technical and delivery requirements Collaborate with client stakeholders, delivery teams and technical specialists to deliver outcomes Contribute to agile delivery across planning, stand ups, refinement and retrospectives Support the design and delivery of secure, scalable and maintainable software Write, test and improve production quality code in live delivery environments Support engineering standards across testing, code review, accessibility and performance Help ensure deliverables meet agreed quality and operational standards Skills and experience Strong experience as a Software Engineer in a hands on delivery role Experience working within a consultancy environment. Experience working in public sector projects. Good experience designing, building and maintaining solutions using .NET Background working within a full software engineering lifecycle environment Experience delivering digital products or services within agile teams Ability to work effectively with stakeholders in complex delivery environments Experience contributing beyond development into technical design, testing and delivery discussions Strong communication skills and a practical approach to delivery, quality and teamwork Reasonable Adjustments: Respect and equality are core values to us.
